Welcome to The Differently Thinking CEO
This is a space dedicated to exploring the ups and downs of setting up a not-for-profit with a vision: that all young people who think differently will have the same opportunities in education and employment.
Like many, my own ADHD diagnosis came later in life—at 42—adding another layer to my experiences. Of my many reflections, there’s one question I keep coming back to:
Can we truly build a world where different minds are valued, not just accommodated?
I ask myself: If we intervene early—and, as always, stop being reactive instead of proactive—could we really change the bias and discrimination that children with SEND face?
I don’t have all the answers, but I do have experiences, ideas, a growing community of parents and carers through Spectrum Dynamics CIC, and the drive to find out.
This space is for sharing the wins, the missteps, and the lessons along the way.
If you've ever felt like your thinking style doesn’t quite fit the traditional image of a leader—or even just a human trying to make a difference—then you might just be in the right place.
At Spectrum Dynamics CIC, we believe in putting people and the planet before profit, and this Substack is part of that commitment.
We believe that neurodiversity is a strength, and we’re here to amplify the voices and experiences of neurodivergent children, their families, and their allies.
Thank you for reading Spectrum Dynamics CIC Substack! This post is public, so feel free to share it.
